| "Dyno" Don Chamberlin grew up in Orange County, California during the beginning of the Volkswagen movement. He began his bracket racing career at the world famous California "Bug-Ins", back in the early 70's. It was at these Bug-Ins where he won several awards, while racing one of his many VW's. | |
| Dyno became one of the most sought after car detailers, detailing more show winning VW's than any other detailer on the car show circuit. | |
| Dyno was involved in a near fatal car accident in 1977. After completing a year of intense physical therapy, armed with a vast knowledge of the Southern California Volkswagen culture, Dyno became the official Bug-In announcer in 1978. He has since gone on to announce hundreds of shows around the world. | |
| Dyno became a proficient voice over talent while studying at and graduating from Del Mar Media Arts. He has done several commercials for Southern California radio stations, and hosted "The Cable Car Connection" television program for three years. | |
| Dyno enjoyed ten years as a contributing editor for Hot VW's magazine. His "Fit 'N' Finish" column covered all aspects of automotive detailing, and the evaluation of new products. | |
| Don Don is an avid Volkswagen enthusiast, having owning over one hundred and fifty various VW's. Dyno's first hand experience, knowledge, and an endless sense of humor have kept him in the limelight of the Volkswagen industry. | |
| Dyno is happy that he has been able to pass on his legacy to others yet to experience what he has in his lifetime. |
| Thank you for visiting the web site of Dyno Don Chamberlin. We hope you enjoyed your trip back in time here, as well as the memories that Dyno loves to share with his extended VW family across the globe. | |
